PSG vs LFC: Van Dijk Not Fearful of Champions League Clash
Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk has insisted that he has no fear of Paris Saint Germain as the Reds are ‘one of the best in Europe’.
Van Dijk has been in superb form for Liverpool this season, even wearing the captain’s armband on a few occasions.
He will again line up for the Reds in Paris on Wednesday night as Jurgen Klopp’s men know a victory against PSG will send them into the Champions League knockout rounds.
Van Dijk is showing no fear ahead of the trip to the Parc des Princes, though.

“I don’t have any fear. We respect them as a team but we want to win the game,” the Dutchman said.
“We are going to totally up for it, motivated and we will make sure we are ready from the start. We don’t need to forget that we are one of the best teams in Europe as well.
“We reached the final last year and we want to do at least the same this year. That’s our goal. So we are going to try and beat them.”
Liverpool go into the game off the back of a comfortable 3-0 win at Watford, but find themselves in a precarious situation in the Champions League.
Defeats away to Napoli and Red Star Belgrade have left them needing points in their remaining two matches against PSG and Napoli.
However, a victory in the French capital on Wednesday will send them through.
Should Klopp’s side draw or lose against Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and co, they will require a victory at Anfield against Napoli on December 11th.
The Reds are in fine form in the Premier League, though, setting their best ever defensive record at this stage of the season, having conceded just 5 goals and kept 8 clean sheets in 13 matches.
